Drayton Public School is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for the following positions: Substitute Bus Driver -Key Responsibilities:Operate a school bus on assigned routes in accordance with state and district regulations.Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus.Conduct a pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.Follow established schedules and adjust to delays or changes as needed.Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.Maintain accurate records as required by the district. Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements.Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screening.Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to student safety.Prior experience driving a school bus preferred but not required - training available.
